Amanda

My name is Amanda. I am a Licensed Massage Therapist working at Donelson Massage Center since 2021. I have over 18 years of experience practicing massage therapy. The pressure levels of massage I can provide to my clients upon request are light to deep pressure. I am trained in: Swedish Customized Massage, prenatal massage, hot stone, cupping and reflexology. I Graduated in 2004 from the Institute of Therapeutic Massage and Movement in Nashville, TN. As a Massage Therapist, I want the client to guide the session; this means they have total control over the atmosphere in the room (lighting, music volume, table warmth & scents used), pressure of the massage and what areas will be focused on during that session. Unless I have questions related to the massage, I try to keep the talking to a minimum in order to allow the client to relax, meditate or fall asleep, but at the same time I encourage questions from clients about my training, their massage or massage in general. In my free time I enjoy gaming, photography, ocean conservation, traveling and spending time with my family.

Ash

Hello, my name is Ash and I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist at Donelson Massage Center since 2022 I’m a graduate of Mind body Institute and have been practicing massage since 2021. My pressure levels range from light to deep at your preference and I am trained in Deep Tissue Massage, Custom Swedish Massage, Myofascial Release Massage, Sports Massage, Chair Massage and Trigger Point Therapy. I prioritize working clients to create an atmosphere that feels safe and with attentiveness to the clients needs and goals. A strong point is my willingness to listen to what the client is wanting to address and let that guide our work together. Another strong point is my ability to explain to a client how things like their gait, posture, and other lifestyle factors can impact the muscles they are feeling pain in and work with them to come up with solutions they can implement outside the treatment room to address that pain. When a person receives a massage from me they can expect attentiveness, kindness, and compassion. I love rock climbing, book clubs, dog fostering, brewing kombucha, and being a part of the meditation community in Nashville!

Ashley

Level 2-4

Hey there! My name is Ashley and I am a Licensed Massage Therapist. I’ve been working at Donelson Massage Center since 2019. The pressure levels of massage I can provide to my clients upon request are light to deep pressure. I am trained in: Swedish Customized Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, TMJ Massage, Myofascial Release Massage, Cupping Massage and Trigger Point Therapy. I was born and raised in Tennessee, a unicorn some say nowadays. Since a young age I’ve been intrigued by the human experience. My first curiosity was the mind which led me into receiving a BA in Human Services and Counseling 2013. Years later, a new inspiration took place when my youngest brother had become bedridden. When visiting, I would massage him with the thought to help with his lack of mobility/circulation. He vented to me that it helped him rest comfortably through the night. My light-bulb went off and I jumped in massage school shortly after; graduating from Mind Body Institute and receiving my massage license in 2018. I am passionate about my work and helping others. I find it important for massage to be encouraged as a team effort and enjoy educating my clients about their bodies to enhance their overall mind-body connect. I offer a customized experience depending on what I and the client find most important in the healing journey. My goal is to help create space in the body and help you manage pain. You will find my work a mixture of trained techniques and styles such as myofascial release, trigger point therapy, relaxation, therapeutic-deep, cupping, scraping, percussion and ortho-bionomy. I look forward to meeting new clients and establishing regular clients!

Francine

Hello wonderful people! My name is Francine. I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist at Donelson Massage Center since 2014. I helped establish this company as one of Nashville’s finest massage establishments. I wouldn’t want to work anywhere else! The pressure levels of massage I can provide to my clients upon request are light to firm pressure. (Not a deep pressure therapist) I am trained in: Swedish Customized Massage, Myofascial Release Massage, Reflexology, Reiki and Chair Massage. I am a graduate of the Natural Health Institute (Nashville, TN) and I am also a registered certified reflexologist and Acutonics® practitioner since May of 2006. I am also a Reiki Master since September of 2008. My clients will benefit from my ability to attentively listen and thoughtfully assess their concerns, and then customize an integrative session that will inspire utter relaxation and stimulate the body’s self-healing mechanisms while I alleviate your muscular tension, myofascial pain, and release those muscle”knots.” I approach deep tissue massage indirectly to avoid the discomfort and soreness that often accompanies direct deep tissue techniques. My approach is gentle yet effective. Along with reflexology, Acutonics® and Reiki, I mostly incorporate the following massage therapy modalities into my sessions: aroma therapy, swedish massage, positional release technique, myofascial release, acupressure, trigger point therapy, healing touch, and polarity therapy.

Note From Justin The Owner: Francine has consistently been in the top 3 most requested therapist since she started working here! I have received many massages from her and they are truly amazing. I love how she can “fix” my muscles without making me scream. Her sessions are so relaxing and therapeutic. Since she is also a License Reflexologist her foot massage is truly like no other I ever had. You can expect to go into a state of true bliss on her massage table!

Jamie

Level 1-4

Hello everyone, my name is Jamie and I am a Licensed Massage Therapist. I have been working at Donelson Massage Center since 2018. I graduated from the Natural Health Institute in Nashville and I have been practicing massage therapy since 2007. I specialize in myofascial release and deep therapeutically-geared massage. My goal for any session is to make sure that my client feels comfortable and receives the work that they feel fits them best. The pressure levels of massage I can provide to my clients upon request are light to deep pressure. I am trained in Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial Release Massage and can customized a massage exclusively to your needs. I’ve taken multiple classes over the years focusing on bodywork for people with PTSD and trauma and I tend to communicate with my client regularly throughout the session. This means I will check in about the pressure that I use, make sure that I’m working in the areas that my client wants me to address and also explain any techniques that may differ from a standard Swedish massage so that they can give informed consent. I am a goal-oriented LMT, and I love communicating with my clients to find out what their needs are for each session. My clients may feel free to ask questions about their massage, as I believe that the best client-therapist relationship is built on working together towards these goals. If requested, I will also gladly tell them what I feel going on in their connective tissue and muscles during the session and work with them to find ways to alleviate tightness, pain, or discomfort in those areas. I also believe that massage therapy is most effective when used as part of an overall health regimen. This means that when requested I usually have suggestions for stretches or other outside activities that will be beneficial for them in the long run. I am a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, and my hobbies are mostly centered around reading, writing, and art, though I have also developed a great love of podcasts.
